Old photos become influencers
The project shows a way of making the archive's extensive data stock accessible to younger target groups in a contemporary way.
Portrait photos - combined with other plant recordings - "learn" to speak and report on their everyday life, technical challenges and other topics of the Hirschfelde power plant.
The videos can be created professionally - but also in workshops with young people (peer to peer education).
The creation of the videos with the Crazy Talk software is quickly learned, and the young people can concentrate fully on the preparation (and later the dissemination) of the content.
The resulting videos can be used in many ways:
- continuously as social media content ( Instagram, Tiktok, youtube-shorts)
- virtual tours of the site
- interactive web maps (see demo)
- integration into existing 360° tours
I would like to continue working on the project with partners from the region and young people from the Czech Republic, Poland and Lusatia.
