Was haben Kunst und Mode gemeinsam?
Dieser Frage widmen wir uns mit Blick auf unseren Datenset bei Coding da Vinci und unsere Antwort lautet: Farbe, Muster und Inspiration!
Unsere Bildauswahl enthält rund 230 Kunstwerke der Sammlung der Staatsgalerie: sie ist bunt gemischt, stammt aus verschiedenen Epochen und beinhaltet diverse Maltechniken. Atmosphärische Landschaftsmalerei und Stadtansichten sowie Stillleben gehören dazu, genauso abstrakte Malerei, organische und florale Muster, plakative Holzschnitte und fantasievolle Drucke oder konstruktiv-anmutende Zeichnungen.
Was all diese Kunstwerke gemeinsam haben, sind entweder ihre besonderen Farbkompositionen oder ihre außergewöhnlichen Muster, die sich mal auf den ersten, mal auf den zweiten Blick offenbaren.
In einem digitalen Prototyp möchten wir das Thema "Bildbetrachtung" und das Inspirationspotential von Kunstwerken durch ihre Farbe und Muster vermitteln – idealerweise im Kontext einer modebezogenen digitalen Interaktion, denn: 2023 steht in der Staatsgalerie eine große Fotografieausstellung zum Thema Fashion an.
Kunstwerke können mit ihren Farben und Mustern wunderbare Inspirationsquellen für Designerinnen und Designer und deren Modekollektionen sein – das Thema Mode wiederum weckt auch die Neugier unserer jungen Zielgruppen!
Wie wäre es, die Kunstwerke der Sammlung über das Thema Mode in einer digitalen Anwendung kreativ und partizipativ zu entdecken?
Oder die Userinnen und User mit Farben und Mustern selbst kreativ werden lassen?
Welche Ideen habt ihr noch, wenn ihr die Farbwelten und Musterlandschaften unserer Kunstwerke betrachtet?

What do art and fashion have in common?
This is the question we address with a look at our data set at Coding Da Vinci and our answer is: color, pattern and inspiration!
Our image selection contains around 230 works of art from the collection of the Staatsgalerie: it´s a colorful mix, comes from different eras and includes diverse painting techniques. Atmospheric landscape painting and city views and still lifes belong to it, as well as abstract painting, organic and floral patterns, striking woodcuts and imaginative prints or constructively suggestive drawings.
What all these works of art have in common are either their special color compositions or their unusual patterns, which sometimes reveal themselves at first glance, sometimes at second.
In a digital prototype, we would like to convey the theme of "image viewing" and the inspirational potential of artworks through their color and patterns - ideally in the context of a fashion-related digital interaction, because: in 2023, a major photography exhibition on the theme of fashion is coming up at the Staatsgalerie.
With their colors and patterns, works of art can be wonderful sources of inspiration for designers and their fashion collections - the topic of fashion, in turn, also arouses the curiosity of our young target groups!
